Inside ISSF

The Council consists of 30 members, including the twelve ISSF Executive Committee members (President, four Vice-Presidents, Chairman of the Technical Committee, the Chairman of the Athletes Committee and the five ordinary members), the Chairman of the Statutes and Eligibility Committee, the Chairman of the Medical Committee, and the representatives of the Continental Confederation according to Article 21.7 ISSF Constitution.

The Council is in particular responsible amend, create and approve the General Regulations and further ISSF regulations, to appoint replacements in case a vacancy in any of the ISSF bodies occurs, to elect members of the Section Committees for a two-(2)-year term, to suspend or exclude Member Federations, and to approve award distinctions for outstanding service. The Council meets at least twice a year.
