The Japanese pair finished with 500.4 points, while Croatia took silver with 500.3. Germany’s Anna Janssen and Maximilian Ulbrich claimed bronze with 436.8 points, ahead of Serbia’s Andelija Stevanovic and Aleksa Rakonjac, who finished fourth with 373.7.
Japan’s victory in Cairo adds another international success for Misaki Nobata and Naoki Hanakawa, who also claimed bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya last month.
Japan prevails in a close contest
Japan and Croatia remained locked in a tight battle throughout the final, with just one tenth of a point separating the two teams at the finish. Nobata and Hanakawa held their advantage to secure gold, while Turk and Maricic had to settle for silver despite a strong performance.

Germany’s Janssen and Ulbrich secured third place, while Serbia’s Stevanovic and Rakonjac completed the four-team final.

Croatia leads qualification
Earlier in the day, Croatia topped the qualification round with 633.3 points. Maricic contributed 317.6, while Turk added 315.7.
Serbia finished second with 632.9, followed closely by Japan with 632.8. Germany secured the fourth and final place in the medal match with 632.4.

The 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team final was part of the ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol in Cairo, which runs from 8 to 16 October and features 385 athletes from 51 countries.
