The Games will take place from 31 October to 13 November 2026 across Dakar, Diamniadio and Saly, bringing together approximately 2,700 athletes aged up to 17 from around the world.
Nearly one million tickets will be available for the Games, with more than 300,000 tickets distributed through a solidarity programme aimed at young people, schools, sports clubs and community organisations across Senegal. The initiative reflects the organisers' commitment to making the Youth Olympic Games accessible to as many people as possible.
A Visa cardholder pre-sale is running from 6 to 9 August, with general ticket sales opening on 10 August through the official Dakar 2026 ticketing platform.
Designed to offer an affordable experience for spectators, competition tickets start from 1,000 CFA francs, while Day Passes providing access to multiple events are available from 1,500 CFA francs. Tickets for the Opening Ceremony are also available at accessible prices, and entry to the Fan Zones will be free of charge.
