The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) reminds all Member Federations that the deadline to nominate candidates for the ISSF Athletes Committee elections (2026–2030) is fast approaching.
Nominations must be submitted by 16 September 2026 at 23:59 CET.
Each Member Federation may nominate one candidate. The nomination must include the official nomination form, a one-page curriculum vitae and a digital photograph, and should be sent to elections@issf-sports.org.
The elections will take place during the ISSF World Championship 300m Cairo 2026 and the ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun Doha 2026.
Six athletes will be elected to the Athletes Committee, with two representatives from each discipline serving during the 2026–2030 term.
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements set out in the ISSF Election Regulations, including the relevant sporting, disciplinary and anti-doping criteria. The list of nominated candidates will be published following the close of the nomination period.
The ISSF encourages all Member Federations that have not yet submitted a nomination to do so before the deadline. The Athletes Committee plays an important role in representing the interests of athletes and contributing to the future development of international shooting sport.
