The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) has opened the nomination process for the ISSF Athletes Committee elections for the 2026–2030 term.

The elections will be held during the ISSF World Championship 300m Cairo 2026 and the ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun Doha 2026. Athletes aged 18 or over who are competing at either championship will be eligible to vote for up to six candidates, with a maximum of two candidates from each discipline.

In line with the ISSF Constitution, six athletes will be elected to serve on the Athletes Committee, with two representatives from each discipline.

Each ISSF Member Federation may put forward one candidate. To complete the application, Member Federations must submit the official nomination form, a one-page curriculum vitae and a digital photograph to elections@issf-sports.org by 16 September 2026 at 23:59 CET.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be active athletes or have recently competed at eligible ISSF Championships, and fulfil the eligibility requirements set out in the ISSF Election Regulations, including the applicable disciplinary and anti-doping provisions.

The list of candidates will be published after the nomination deadline, with further information on the election process to be communicated in due course.
