Representatives of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) spent the week of 9–12 June in Montreux, Switzerland, participating in a series of intensive meetings with the Olympic Results and Information Services (ORIS) team as preparations continue for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Hosted under the coordination of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the meetings brought together representatives from the ISSF, LA28, IOC, Omega and Deloitte to review all aspects of results management, information services and competition presentation for Olympic shooting sport.

The ISSF delegation included Sports Director Peter Underhill, Technical Delegate and Technical Committee Member Jadranka Strukić, Event Manager Jan Ketzel and Press Officer Juliana Daguano. Representing the Los Angeles 2028 Organising Committee were Sport Manager Will Anti, alongside experts from the IOC, LA28, Omega and Deloitte.

Over four full days of discussions, participants examined a wide range of topics related to the delivery of shooting sport at LA28, including competition formats, rule updates, results services, scoreboards, athlete biographies, historical data, media communications, real-time information systems and on-screen results presentation.

The meetings also addressed exceptional competition situations, data distribution procedures and the specific requirements for shooting sport results and information services during the Olympic Games.

The discussions formed part of the ongoing collaboration between the ISSF, the IOC and LA28 to ensure the highest standards of competition presentation and information delivery for athletes, media, broadcasters and spectators.
