The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Rifle/Pistol Judges Course took place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 26 April to 1 May 2026, continuing the federation’s commitment to education and development within shooting sport.

The course was hosted at the KRRC Range in Langata, bringing together 18 participants, all representing Kenya. The sessions were led by ISSF instructor and ISSF Executive Committee member Hazem Hosny (EGY), who guided attendees through both theoretical and practical aspects of judging in rifle and pistol disciplines.

At the conclusion of the course, eight participants successfully passed the examinations and were awarded the official ISSF Judges certification, marking an important step in strengthening the technical expertise and officiating standards within the country.
The course provided participants with valuable knowledge on competition rules, judging procedures and event management, contributing to the continued development of qualified officials at national and international level.

Through initiatives like this, the ISSF reinforces its ongoing efforts to support Member Federations in building capacity and ensuring high standards across all areas of the sport.
