ISSF Media Webinar brings Member Federations together for exchange and collaboration

The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Media department successfully held its first Media Webinar of 2026 on 28 April at 15:00 CET, bringing together media representatives from Member Federations for a one-hour session focused on communication, strategy and collaboration.

The webinar provided a valuable opportunity for exchange between the ISSF Media Team and the global shooting sport community, reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening the visibility of the sport.

At the beginning of the session, ISSF Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo addressed participants on behalf of the ISSF leadership.

He thanked Member Federations for their engagement and reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to safeguarding the future of shooting sport, including its continued presence within the Olympic Games programme.
ISSF Media Manager Nick Davies opened the presentation with an overview of the work done by the ISSF Media team since 2024. 

ISSF Media Officer Juliana Daguano led the presentation, outlining the key pillars of the ISSF communication strategy and sharing insights into the significant growth in media reach and engagement since 2024.

ISSF Digital Officer Andreas Georgiou provided further detail on the work being carried out across social media platforms, highlighting ongoing efforts to strengthen digital presence and audience connection.

Finally, Nick Davies concluded the presentation with a forward-looking overview, focusing on communication strategies in the lead-up to future editions of the Olympic Games.

Throughout the webinar, participants were encouraged to engage, share feedback and contribute to the discussion. The session concluded with a dedicated Q&A segment, allowing Member Federations to raise questions and exchange ideas directly with the ISSF Media Team.
