ISSF engages with global stakeholders at IWA OutdoorClassics and WFSA forum

The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) participated, on 25 and 26 February, in IWA OutdoorClassics, the world’s largest exhibition for shooting sport and outdoor equipment. The Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo, ISSF Executive Assistant Eleonora Giustiniani and Head of Marketing Andrea Cuneo represented the federation at the traditional event that took place in Nuremberg, Germany.

 

During the exhibition, ISSF representatives are engaging with industry stakeholders, partners, and members of the international shooting community, presenting the federation’s activities while exploring opportunities for future collaboration. The event also hosts the World Forum of Shooting Activities (WFSA), which offers a dedicated platform for dialogue and exchange across the sector.

As part of the forum programme, Nicotra di San Giacomo took part in a panel discussion summarising ISSF’s current activities and looking ahead to the shooting sport disciplines at the next Olympic Games at Los Angeles 2028 and beyondThe forum agenda also included panel discussions on topics relevant to the global shooting community, as well as offering networking opportunities connecting governing bodies, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.

 

ISSF’s presence at IWA OutdoorClassics will continue tomorrow with a full schedule of meetings involving federation partners and sponsors, reinforcing cooperation between sport and industry and supporting the continued growth and visibility of shooting sport worldwide.
